{"id":447,"date":"2021-01-05T18:12:27","date_gmt":"2021-01-05T18:12:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/?p=447"},"modified":"2021-01-28T20:58:51","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T20:58:51","slug":"omatali-misleading-encounter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/blog\/2021\/01\/05\/omatali-misleading-encounter\/","title":{"rendered":"Mrs. Omatali encounter with Aydin Aghdashloo is misleading"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>The encounter described by Sara Omatali in the New York Times article is misleading and questionable.<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The New York Times <\/em>article includes accusations from Sara Omatali claiming that when she visited Mr. Aghdashloo 14 years ago to pick up Mr. Aghdashloo at his studio for an interview at the Iranian National Museum, he \u201cgreeted her while naked with a robe draped on his shoulder, forced a kiss and pressed his body on hers.\u201d Mr. Aghdashloo has previously been photographed in his long Moroccan robe which he always wears at his studio and that is fully stitched up at the front. He&nbsp;emphatically denies having ever greeted Mrs. Omatali, or anyone, without being appropriately dressed, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CEZupiUluA3\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vehemently affirms<\/a> that he never&nbsp;attempted&nbsp;to kiss, inappropriately touch or otherwise force himself on Mrs. Omatali or anyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to her account on social media, after this incident,&nbsp;Mrs. Omatali&nbsp;accompanied him to a museum, at which time&nbsp;the below picture was taken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"735\" src=\"https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en2\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/12\/Image-for-Sara-fact-1-1024x735.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/12\/Image-for-Sara-fact-1-1024x735.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/12\/Image-for-Sara-fact-1-300x215.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/12\/Image-for-Sara-fact-1-768x551.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aydinaghdashloofacts.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/12\/Image-for-Sara-fact-1.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>Sara Omatali with Aydin Aghdashloo, in the museum, on the same day and after her alleged story of misconduct.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Witnesses at the museum that day mentioned that Mrs. Omatali was  seemed cheerful. In this interview, she was accompanied&nbsp;by a photo journalist colleague of Ms. Omatali, who captured the image and who would have been with&nbsp;her at the meeting.
